Nursery admission for the academic session 2019-20 in the national capital Delhi is scheduled to begin from December 15. Several new rules and regulations were introduced for the upcoming academic session. The most important among them is the upper age limit. The government has prescribed an upper age limit for admission in Nursery, Kindergarten and Class I.
According to sources, with the direction of the Directorate of Education (DOE), the admission process for entry-level classes in private schools in Delhi begins. There are more than 1600 private schools in Delhi under DOE. The last date to submit the application form for nursery admission is 7th January 2019. Delhi Nursery Admission 2019: First Allotment List
More than 1500 schools in Delhi have published the first list of selected candidates for nursery admission. The list has been released for the first list of selected candidates. It is also expected that the second list of general category will be released on February 21. The second list will be available along with the waiting list students.

Sources also said that 25% seats in pre-school, pre-primary and class 1 are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections/Deprived Groups (EWS/DG). DoE has also directed all schools to upload their criteria (with marks for each criteria) for admission on the official website before December 14.
